A message from us at 227Maryland:

The funeral for Da'Cara Thompson will be held in Prince Georges County Maryland.  Ms Thompson was a rising star in our community where Black women and Women of Color are targeted by 'bad men' who pretend to be 'charity volunteers' or pretend to offer 'free tattoos'.  We should walk in pairs to protect ourselves.  No daughter deserves this, and we are totally planning to prevent another Woman of Color from being assaulted simply because she is woman.  We pray that everyone that knew Da'Cara to hug one another, In Cara we Cherish.  We also ask that everyone just be kind, even when you disagree.  The 'wolves' wake up everyday to kill, steal, and destroy.  We have to do better in protecting our community.  Her murder could have been prevented by ICE since 'driving under the influence' is attempted assault.  Da'Cara you are sorely missed!  We must protect our women.///Treasuries and Coin Bahamas
